Seven nights, minimum

Pick a city and a check-in date and the check-out is set seven nights later. You can push it out as far as you like; you cannot bring it below seven, because that is the stay this is built for.

The catalogue is filtered accordingly — apartment-style and extended-stay inventory, with kitchens, workspaces and laundry as filters you can search on rather than details buried in a description.

The price you see is the price you pay

Hotels often quote a total that excludes a resort fee or amenity charge collected at check-in. On a one-night stay that is an annoyance. Over seven or fourteen nights it is real money, and it is why the cheapest-looking option frequently is not.

So every price here is all-in: the quoted total plus any fee the property collects on arrival. It is the number on the card, the number in the sort order, the number the filters use and the number on the map. There is no cheaper figure being used behind the scenes to rank things.

The one place we deliberately show something different is checkout, where the prominent figure is what will actually be charged to your card at that moment. It is labelled "charged now", and the stay total sits directly beneath it.

Booking and payment

You book on Seven & Up, and the payment is taken by Nuitée, our supply partner, who is the merchant of record for the stay. They charge your card, hold the funds and issue any refund. We earn a commission on the booking.

That is worth knowing for a practical reason: if a refund is due, it comes from them, and the descriptor on your statement is theirs rather than ours.

Cancellation

Cancellation terms belong to the rate you choose, not to us. Some rates are free to cancel until a stated date; some are non-refundable and cost the full amount from the moment you book. Whichever applies is shown before you pay.

We store those terms as they were shown to you, so if you cancel later the dialog quotes the deal you actually agreed to rather than re-deriving it from whatever the supplier says that day. Where the rate allows it, you can cancel yourself from Trips in your account.

Your account

You can book as a guest without an account. Sign in with an email address or with Google, and any booking made with that email shows up under Trips — including one you made before creating the account.

What is not here yet

The Extender’s Club is in development. The page describing it says so, and nothing on the site currently earns or spends its benefits. When the perks are real they will be described here in the same detail as everything above.
